We all saw the POWER in prayer and fasting when we as a blog family took a day to do this for the hold on some of the Ethiopia adoptions.. SO I feel that we as a blog family need to do this for Margot (Julies' mom) SO please join me this Friday July 25,2008 for a day of fasting and prayer for Margots healing!!!!

Traci,

Also, some stores will honor other stores sales ( I am pretty sure that Walmart does) That way you can show them the ad for the sale price and cut down on the number of stores you are going to.

I am soo going to check out those blogs. I am not a coupon clipper at all, but I was recently at the grocery store with a cart full of groceries that I knew was going to come out to be about $100. The woman in front of me had a fist full of coupons and got her cart full of groceries ($85 worth) for free! In fact, the store owed her $4 so she had to buy a couple packs of gum because technically the store can't owe you money. I thought, "hmmmm, might be worth a couple extra trips and little more effort to get $85 worth of groceries for NOTHING. Thanks for the tips!

THanks Amy for the blog idea... I will check it out after the kiddos are in bed. Maybe we can get together and compare notes, especially now that we are in the same town. Yeah!!!!

I have caught the frugal bug too! I love trying to be frugal-not wateful. I think it is a method of stewardship. Besides, it is lots of fun and kind of a challenge too. I can't find a blog about Fred Meyer though. Lots of WalMart and then stores in Olympia. I have most of the ones you mentioned favorited (?) and freebies4mom is what got me started. Here is another one you might want to check out. She is actually an AGCI mom and adopted from Guatemala a while ago. http://livingincontentmentwithless.blogspot.com/ Happy Shopping!
